Dimitri grunted as her paws were lifted off the ground. Tears welled form her eyes. She blinked them away. NO! She had to be strong for the Jewel-borns. Looking up, she gently set her paws on the ground. The wolves supporting her stopped and looked at her...then they got the message. They backed off as Dimitri took a few steps forward, her paws stinging. About halfway home, she saw a glint in the bushes. She knew it was her crown, she could tell...but that wasn't where she lost it. Picking up pace, almost running, she raced forward and pushed the branches away. Her crown glinted brighter than ever in the sunlight, and next to  it was a flamingo feather. "My crown! Ember! Over here!" she turned to her friend "Look what I found! The flamingos! They found it! Look!"
