Post 19As the night wore on, and Dimitri got more and more drowsy, she started to worry about her friend even more. Ember had been out just as long as Dimitri had, and so she must be exhausted. Waiting until after the young healer left, Dimitri got up to leave and search for her friend. She poked her head through the vines that covered the entrance to the den, glancing side to side, checking if the coast was clear. Nobody would want their leader disappearing on them if they had been through what Dimitri had today. She ran from the entrance to the edge of the Main-stretch, and dove into some bushes as some other males passed by. Barely breathing, afraid it would give her away, Dimitri rushed to the trail leading from the center of territory into the forest. She had just passed the tree-line when she heard a laugh and a familiar voice. Ember!...she thought, and raced in the direction of the sound. Dimitri called out Ember's name as she ran, "Ember! Is that you!?"
